There are many cool painkiller sound tracks but these two are my favorite:

Here's two songs I find extra-notable:

Bigfoot is a great song to me probably because I heard it so much seeing as it starts off every Soviet mission in Red Alert, but even so it's still a good style despite the repetition (which seems to be inherent in all vidya game music anyway, so whatever).

SWR's Border of Life has a fun upbeat, almost jazzy-ish to me, feel to it that I find very appealing. 'course, I have no idea what I'm talking about when it comes to music-classification-by-genre.

In terms of a very broad "what game has the best soundtrack overall?" I'd probably have to go with Scarlet Weather Rhapsody, the source of that particular arrange of Border of Life; I like to listen to almost every track in that game, and there are like none that I get annoyed with. The Command & Conquer games also seem to have good collections of tracks in them (at least the ones I've played: Tib Dawn, Tib Sun & Red Alert), so it's worth noting as well.

Something special about "lost in space" type of games, like doom is also. :)

HI

Non-aliased-as-fuck audio interpolation tends to be statistically correct, but practically sounding like fuck.
Now enjoy some aliased-as-fuck audio.
