 Re: AOW16 - Unending Pain
I actually intentionally put the obelisk in an occluded and hard to reach place, to 1) decrease its effectiveness (for balance reasons), and 2) make it harder to destroy.
This map requires an actual team in order to play it well.

 Re: AOW16 - Unending Pain
It's not my fault if people can't coordinate their teams. This map played really well IIRC during internal testing though, I suppose it's because we all had actual teamwork skills.

 Re: AOW16 - Unending Pain
yeah ive witnessed a couple superamazing matches. i was fortunate enough to have a team of like 8, everyone knew what he was doing and we had a very fierce fight over our front door this map is rly good even on small amout of players cuz even if ref is destroyed, you can still earn xp from monsters. and i like the security of the tib field. its a superb map that im speechless at well done, eruanna!!!

 Re: AOW16 - Unending Pain
If you ask enigma, we were both involved in an hour long game of super coordinated stuff a while back. Too bad those games happen once every blue moon.

 Re: AOW16 - Unending Pain
The majority of the community likes shitty, undetailed maps that work well on their shitty computers, which is why these maps are voted out of. The Omega maps are meant for 2000+ made computers, not the 1995 junk that a bunch of Doomers have.

 Re: AOW16 - Unending Pain
AOW06 isn't that good for gameplay and size. It was ripped from CityInvasion D2INV1 map which is small and It always ends up as a spam fest and more. It would have been better if it was atleast ripped from a better CityInvasion map. But Aside from that, Although my laptop is 64mb shared graphics and 1.66x2 processor, it can still run all the maps well in Software. Although in GL, It is still playable, but I would get the occasional Kernel Panic.

 Re: AOW16 - Unending Pain
A quick tip: In the back tunnels, you can crouch behind the dead prop cacodemon bodies for cover. Worked many times for me.

 Re: AOW16 - Unending Pain
Change the colors red to dark red Can You Give An Example in how this feature Would Be Useful? To start I would say that this map created by Eruanna is original and quite nice. However the texture red on this map are: 1, Tiring for the eyes 2, And the color of the card is similar to the colors of the red team players, which gives an advantage for the red team. The solution would be to put a texture dark red to stay in the area of pain while improving the gameplay. PS: Sorry for my English and Eruanna, please. Be lenient with me [/quote]
