I would suggest for next build, that you remove static noise that exits in current stock footsteps sound. In Audacity I can see on plot where real footstep sound ends and where that kind of odd noise begins. Its same noise if we have bad signal on radio (or TV). I can give you example of my edit to them. I play ingame without game music on max sound and using equalizer and i really rely on sound a lot (as a former counter-strike player). I would like that all sounds ingame be very comfortable for listening.

Put these files on its place (aow2_omega_r2539/sounds/player) and compare them with stock foosteps sounds, I know that my edit is noob, I hope someone will do this much better than me.

Ermac can u explain how can I do it.

I extracted the file aow2_omega_r2539 with Winrar and then I put the files where u said.
Then I compress the file with Winrar. It keep like before but with your files.
But when I want to play Team Game it give me an error.

What I'm doing wrong ? =(

I'm so noob in this stuff. Please, help me.

EDIT: DONE (They're in the next version also.)
Just drop those into the "Skins" folder of skulltag. (If it's not there, make a folder called "Skins" in your skulltag folder, and drop this in there.)

I'm taking a stab at those sounds too. (Just give me a second to mess a bit more with them.) le done

As for you, Lechuzon - I'll release a little autoload "patch" thingy in a moment. (AFAIK sounds aren't protected.)

Also whoah, Ermac. Yours are still quite noisy. (At least compared to the ones I have here. p:)
