Imo i like this map. But i only posted here to rant about one thing- The Cliff.

On my first couple of play-thrus's on this map i never noticed it (Mainly because of all the walls being the same texture, it doesnt stand out much.) But Now every time i play on this map i (Prepare for n00b rant) always wondered why RED got the cliff and not Blue too! it really sucks how Red has the upper-hand. Then again i can always join the Red team....*evil snicker*.

And that is my n00b-ish rant.

It's not a "n00b-ish rant". It is your opinion (or critique), and we welcome criticism. It's what makes us improve. :)
And I agree with you, if we are talking about the same cliffs. Util guys usually build turrets on those cliffs and turrets can see half of the map, if not more.

I agree, the cliff sucks. It's lopsided since one team base is closer to it, incredibly campy and everything.

Maybe if it was easier to access it and contained some entry point into the base it's closer to? That way it could be balanced IMHO.

Both me and other players have experienced distorted sound on this map during play. That is the sound gets "corrupted" with scratchy noise and delay for the rest of the game. I have worked around this by restarting sound system in Options. Think it is the massive explosions during airstrike that does it.

Also there is some annoying ambient sound that never ends. Somewhere in the middle of the bases.

On this map buildings should take damage from external walls but they don't. My suggestion is to make that possible.

If you like games that go nowhere, yeah... The option to at least hit a base from the outside when it's being camped hard by the defending team should be a default. At least the match is going somewhere, instead of pointless long-term stalling since neither teams can do anything.

Example: Red locks Blue down in their base but are unable to break through camping Blues and concentrated Utility defenses to reach the building MCTs, so both teams are locked in a boring stalemate. Red can't get in and Blue's can't get out. The option to seige the buildings from outside or use mechs as a breakthrough (and ending the stalemate) would normally be available, but they're not. So both teams are pretty much stuck delaying the almost inevitable loss of Blue, and it gets boring and demotivating for both teams and people begin to leave.

This is basically the reason I hate this map unless both teams are equally good to keep the fighting in the middle.

If we manage to balance utility defenses in the next release, there will be no need to make buildings vulnerable from the outside as infiltrating a base in 07 is unique and doesn't guarantee instant obelisk rape.
