 Re: AOW15 - Oasis
The structures were excellently made. I especially like the Obelisk and the Refinery. Good job on this map.

 Re: AOW15 - Oasis
The only thing I can think of that can make this map any nicer is if you used the new template for the buildings.
Hey, if you can edit the old War Factory to include the guard tower, you can surely edit the new War Factory model. Hell, I hope the WF+Watchtower model becomes standard.
EDIT: Whoops, old-ass thread.

 Re: AOW15 - Oasis
I tried to make a mini ref in the small cave part, and it wouldn't let me. Why? It had to be ON THE DOT the tiny green part, not just near the tibs. -.-

 Re: AOW15 - Oasis
Well, last time, I accidentally picked up the Tib and had to start from 0.

 Re: AOW15 - Oasis
Well if it's such a big problem go make the miniref into the tibfield in the open area. But I have no problems positioning the miniref into the small hole in there.

 Re: AOW15 - Oasis
Well, imo, it's easier to guard there, since you need little proxies, and in the open, it's very to sneak in there.

 Re: AOW15 - Oasis
Just keep building on your way to the tib field until it's about 90-95% done, then pop into the tib field as it finishes. You don't have to suffer chemical damage the whole time you're building. Therefore, building in the tib field should be no issue unless you have really shitty depth perception.

 Re: AOW15 - Oasis
It's harder than people realize to gain depth perception in a video game. Everything is rendered on a flat 2-dimensional surface, and the only ways you can tell distance is 1) the size of an object, and 2) how far is it from the center of the screen. This is not nearly enough data to make a conclusive decision about every single object on the screen, so people who have trouble with it, it's no surprise. Your mind does really has to guess - though it is often able to do so without you being aware of it.

 Re: AOW15 - Oasis
I have depth perception problems OUTSIDE of video games, and even I don't have a problem with making the mini-ref there. Lol.
