I just got this fun idea in the mind when I have read about death crates that in existed long ago versions. Just like you build defenses you can put only one poison pack that looks like big health pack into building. When enemy picks it, it unleashes green chem particles, player instantly collapses and dies and message is displayed: <(Player name)> tasted < Util who put it name > poison health pack. Point is to trick enemy who goes into buldings and pickup healths. You can't know it's poison by appereance. Team players can't pickup poison pack just like team mines doesn't activate on their own team players. There can be also only one posinous stimpack (small health) who does same effect (and same message). One poison somewhere in one bulding and one poison in somewhere around battlefield.

Poisonous health packs can be removed with repair gun, demo gun or medic gun if enemy knows it's posinous one. Also util guy who builded it can remove it and put it on other place.

Tell me your opinions about this one.

There should be some obscure way of telling that it's poisonous... like the small sprite of a mine underneath it. ;)

Enemy can check it with repair gun (demo or medic gun beside), if it is poisonus it will dissapear like mines being disarmed. Enemy who died can tell where poison pack was. Util can move it from place to place. It's only one large pack and one small pack so it isn't spammable. No overpowering surprises just little fun. And I forgot to tell poison pack dissapear after use. After enemy poisoned himself you need to put new one. You can't know its poisonus other way then being told by someone or being defused cuz it has same sprite as large medical pack. I think I wrote complete idea.

Problem: attackers who make it inside buildings are generally stealth troopers who don't have a repair gun, unless they are Commando rank. Are you implying that only Commando ranked players should be able to diffuse said packs?

Everyone knows where medical kits spawn. Maybe if you put it somewhere among them. I can also see this being put under small doors in terms of defense. Since it's instakill, it replaces a patch of 5 mines and razorwires, but it's only 1, I guess.

Should just induce poisoning rather than instakill, perse, 40HP in 10 seconds?

Also, to distinguish it, how about it slightly tint green once every 10 seconds or so?

40HP in 10 seconds is even weaker than the chemical decays alone.

You are Right, like stealths are able to defuse mines, they should be able defuse poisonous health packs. We will allow them to defuse them with their special tool - laser rifle. All other laser weapons can't defuse them. Now we have 4 ways to defuse them.
