Post Ion (Nuke) on blocks (walls) bug
It happened in 2-3 past days, on map Defragment. Blue guy planted ion on blocks, I couldn't reached it to defuse it and it damages WF from 44 to 16 health. It shouldn't damage WF at all. And some players use (abuse) this bug. On AOW02 map again same bug when beacon was planted on wall. Here I show you ion planted on blocks, under my crosshair.

Is that on an edge? If so, I know a skulltag bug that displays the sprites of actors on top of the floors if placed very close to them, while the hitbox is on the bottom. And this bug happens mostly on edges, but works in general sometimes. I think this is a multiplayer-only bug.

My theory will need confirmation before this gets moved to vexing bugs though.

The deal here is that the ion blast has enough radius to hit the hitboxes around the buildings, and the mere fact that it does hit is enough to do full damage to the terminal, range does not matter. If the beacon blast radius is decreased, it may become less reliable to instakill the building from the inside. Not sure what to do here.

Logically it makes sense. I mean, it's a bloody nuclear bomb or an orbital laser cannon.

Although, I suppose that if it's only on this map, a little more distance could be put between the buildings and the edges of the "cave".
