Counter-strike feature for class purchase menu
It has the same feature as in counter-strike when you buy weapon, you use keys 1..9 (and 0) to navigate through the menu.
When you open the menu: 1. Select Class / Resign Class merged (depending do you have class or not, one appears) *avoid message you need to resign; 2. Add on gear (1 grade armor, Tiberium rifle, Combustion rifle..); 0. Surrender.
Select class submenu is divided as in aow2 wiki (this is very logical to people): 1. Free (1. Gunman, 2. Shotgunner, 3. Engineer, 4. Tiberium Harvester); 2. Basic combat (1. Machine gunner, 2. Rifleman, 3. SSG, 4. Minigunner); 3. Advanced combat (1. Commando, 2. Sniper, 3. Jumpjet, 4. Timecop, 5. Suicide bomber); 4. Chemical (1. Tiberium rifle, 2. Chem warrior); 5. Fire (1. Combustion rifle, 2. Flame thrower); 6. Laser; 7. Explosive; 8. Support (maybe move here Timecop and Suicide move).
- Because menu is wider there are less chances for confusion that can result in bad outcome like: C4's are on the obelisk in SD and you try to select demolition expert and mistake result is (Blue) Red toilet destroyed. Or if I like to repeat SSG it will always be 8. 1. (for 250$ 1 grade armor) and 2. 3. (for the SSG) numeric keys to hit.
- You can easily remember which combination is for which classes for those you repeat frequently.
- 1. 2. and 8. usually offers lot of classes that don't depend on Barracks and RC.
- Apparently very different classes shouldn't be merged in generic.

Re: Counter-strike feature for class purchase menu
Sounds pretty damn good I like this idea.
Only question is, will the Spawn room still be needed, and if so, how to Limit it to where it only works In the spawn room??

Re: Counter-strike feature for class purchase menu
I guess he meant this menu will be shown up only when you use a terminal in the spawn room.
