I was messing around with a map earlier when I came upon the idea of a bridge which could be destroyed and repaired. Something that would offer a shortcut path with a clear benefit towards just one team that could be removed with enough effort by the opposing team.
Obviously this idea could extend to more than just bridges; there could be things like walls for example.
I was wondering if anyone thinks this is an idea worth pursuing or if it something better left as is: an idea.
This sounds similar to deliberate holes in the maps for utils to patch up with platforms/steps.

you could use floors that lower almost instantly that look like terrain that are triggered by gunfire and stay lowered until someone comes along and "repairs" it back up vice-versa. ------------- <doombuilder>: floor : lower to next ajacent floor : speed - instant : delay time - (insert code here).
